‘Zagalo’, Wobay & others join Leone Stars camp

NK Olimpija Ljubljana midfielder, Gibrilla Julius Wobay

Denizlispor midfielder, Alfred ‘Zagalo’ Sankoh and NK Olimpija Ljubljana attacking midfielder, Gibrilla Julius Wobay, were among other four professional players to join the national team, Leone Stars camp in Freetown.

The other professionals include; France based goalkeeper, Solomon Zombo Morris, JS Hercules man, Abdul Sesay and the team skipper Umaru Zangalay Bangura. The arrival of those  players increased the number to 10.

David Simbo, Khelifa Jabbie, Thomas Koroma, George Davies and Alhaji Dauda Kamara were the early arrivals. Sankoh and Wobay had been impressive this season in both the Turkish and Slovenia league, featuring immensely.

Meanwhile, U.S based trio, Kei Kamara, Michael Lahoud and Victory Manasaray are all expected in town in addition to  AFC United striker, Mohamed Buya Turay and Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara of BK Hacken.

Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama, was reported to have joined the Harambee Stars  camp in Machakos. Also, Brian Mandela, who plies his trade in South Africa, was part of the team training on Saturday, while China-based striker, Michael Olunga and the rest of the invited foreign based are expected in camp the Harambee Stars camp before their departure to Freetown on Thursday.
