Sierra Leone international defender, Alie Sesay, says he is appreciative of Coach Martin Allen’s guidance since his loan move to Barnet.
The Central defender, who is on loan from Leicester City to the English league Two side, is looking forward to establishing himself in Barnet’s backline and has already made several progress in the team since his move.
The 21-year-old, who stood out at the back against York City and put in a performance that Allen described as ‘absolutely magnificent’, believes he is finding his feet at the club thanks to his manager’s advice.
He said: “The manager has helped me a lot. He’s been good to me and he speaks to me all the time, helping me to improve my game. The lads have welcomed me coming in and I feel like I’m in my stride.”
Sesay, who started his time with the Bees at right-back and started in defensive midfield in the 3-0 win at Newport County, said he doesn’t see himself as having a favourite position.
“I’ll play anywhere in the team that I can be of use. I just want to play games and get going really. We don’t really look too far ahead as a team and we just need to make sure our performances are there,” he said.
