Popular Swedish agent Patrick Mork is accompanied by two prominent scouts on a football scouting mission to identify ‘young generation talents’.

Mork, who is no stranger to Sierra Leone football, is accompanied by AIK Solna chief scout Tobia Ackerman and Ostersunds FK chief scout Kyle Macauley.

The trio arrived in Freetown on Thursday night and will today (Friday) start five days scouting at the National Stadium in Freetown in a talent pool competition organised by AIK Freetown.

According to ace football agent, Chernor Musa Jalloh, the pioneer of Patrick Mork’s visit, the coming of the trio is important because it gives opportunity to young players again after a whole-year without playing effective football due to the Ebola outbreak.

“This will give the lads the opportunity to showcase their talent because all is not lost, Ebola is behind us now and the lad must be given the opportunity again to exhibit their talents,” Musa said.

“This tournament has been helpful to our players, the likes of Alhaji ‘Andriano’ Kamara, Alhassan Crespo Kamara were all spotted from this event. This year will be different, unlike previous years; it was three days but this time they are here for five days which will give them more chance to look at lot of players and identify who they want.”

This is not the first time Patrick Mork is traveling with scouts from European clubs, particularly those from Sweden to Sierra Leone. In October 2012 he came along with Chelsea scout Peder Wiocluno.
