Ten Ebola orphans at Mathaineh village, Matonkoh section in the Ribbi chiefdom, Moyamba district breathed a sigh of relief recently when they received food and non-food items from two local organisations.
Five boys and five girls, aged two to eighteen years, received a bag of rice each, clothing and toiletries from TEDEWOSIL and Eternity Ministries as a continuation of their support to Ebola orphans.
Speaking on behalf of TEDEWOSIL, Reverend Martha Chigozie said that as a religious organisation they were happy to donate to vulnerable children, adding that they were constrained to do more.
Rev. Mrs. Chigozie said they were looking for more support to donate to other Ebola orphans in other parts of the country.
Mr. Scott Manga, who represented Eternity Ministries, said they would continue to donate to orphans in other areas, stating that these children have suffered the most and should be considered.
