Blue Line Construction and Investment Company (SL) Ltd, operating in the East End of Freetown would dish out six billion five hundred thousand Leones (Le6.5Bn) to boost hundreds of students from approved and accredited colleges across the country, with the payment of 50% tuitions fees.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Line, Mohamed Fornah, the nationwide financial assistance would commence in the first semester of the 2019 academy year.

“Those substantial amounts are intended to be disbursed in segments based on the number of students that will meet the set criteria,” he said.

He noted that Fourah Bay College, Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), Njala University, UNIMAK and the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology (MMCE & T) would benefit from the gesture.

In an exciting mood, the Chief Executive Officer revealed that a lot of selection criteria will be conducted so that those who deserve such a compassionate offer would be given.

The young patriotic Sierra Leonean further clarified that no specific number of students will be targeted at this point, but stressed on the fact that they are very sensitive to gender parity.

Fornah disclosed that empowering female has always been his dream over the years.

“Blue Line is well known for the free bus services they are rendering to pupils and students in the Freetown municipality.  We are rendering quite a good number of humanitarian services gearing towards the socioeconomic developments of Sierra Leoneans. We are tirelessly working on strategies to extend our free transportation to Bo, Kenema and Makeni,” he said, adding that other district headquarter towns will be boosted as well.

He stated that “let me make it categorically clear that my Company is a private owned and that both private and government schools are currently benefiting from our free bus services”
