Sierra Leone and Stockport County winger, Abdul Bell-Baggie, will be out of action for a minimum of two weeks as the 23-year-old continues to nurse a hamstring injury.
The Sierra Leone international, who joined the English National League North side as a free agent, has already missed County’s goalless draw with Worcester City, the 1-1 tie with Brackley Town, and the 1-0 defeat to Chorley.
And he is also in line to miss the Saturday September 26 encounter against Fylde.
The former Bristol City winger confirmed his injury saying: “I am injured at the moment with my hamstring but due back in two weeks. First injured during the pre-season but after my first two games into the season, I have done it again. I look to be back very soon.”
The winger has made just two appearances in the English National League North this season and scoring his first goal in Stockport County’s 3-2 win at AFC Fylde.
Bell-Baggie has represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 levels.
The first of his four international appearances for the Leone Stars came in June 2013 when Sierra Leone faced the Cape Verde Islands in a World Cup qualifier.
