Man 35, remanded for allegedly penetrating child 4

Presiding Justice Momoh Jah Stevens at Pademba Road High Court No One yesterday sent one Alie Kamara to the Pademba Road Male Correctional Centre for alleged sexual penetration contrary to Law of Sierra Leone.

The accused is before Justice Momoh Jah Stevens on one count of Sexual Penetration of a child contrary to Section 19 of the Sexual Offense Act No.12 of 2012.

The State Prosecutor, Jenneh B. Kamara alleges that the accused on 16^th November, 2018 at Waterloo in the Western Rural , engaged in an act of sexual penetration with a child below the age of eighteen years.

 The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge and he was not represented.

The matter was adjourned to the 7^th March 2019 for further hearings

In another related matter in the same court, Justice Momoh Jah Stevens again remanded one 49 years old James Cays Otterbein for allegedly penetrating a 13 years old child.

The accused is before the court on one count of sexual penetration contrary to section 19 of the Sexual Offense Act No.12 of 2012.

The State Prosecutor, Jenneh B. Kamara, alleges that on the date unknown between 1^st February 2017 and 28^th February 2017 in the Western Area of Sierra Leone, engaged in an act of sexual penetration with a child below the age of eighteen years.

However, the accused was not represented and Justice Stevens remanded him and adjourned the matter to the 11^th March 2019 for further hearings.
