Total petroleum, a leading French petroleum company operating in Sierra Leone, has through their lubricant promotion presented a brand new tricycle (Kekeh) and a motorcycle to youth who won the first phase of the company’s promotion.

On November 1, Total Petroleum launched their lubricant promotion, requiring their customers to buy any size of Total lubricant to have the chance to win various prizes, including small and big sizes of Awango solar lights, motor bikes and tricycles.

Speaking during the handing over ceremony at their head office on Wilkinson Road, Safety Officer Alimamy Kamara stated that it was obligatory for the company to talk about safety in any gathering because it was paramount to the company.

He called on everyone, including drivers, kekeh and bike riders and other road users to be safety conscious, especially during the festive season.

Managing Director of Total Sierra Leone, Rose Nkada, said the journey started on 1st November when they launched the lubes promotion, and on Tuesday, 4th December, in the full view of the press and observers, at their conference room, they did a raffle draw for the first phase.

She said that after the raffle draw, they immediately contacted the winners via their mobile phone and put them on loudspeaker to the hearing of everybody that witnessed the event.

She said they would round up Total Lubrication 2018 first phase by donating prizes to the lucky winners across the nation.

She said their lubricant has been consistently gaining grounds in the Sierra Leonean market due to its exceptional qualities, adding that between 2017 to date Total Lubricant has gained strength as clear indication of their customers’ needs.

She said the promotion was not only to celebrate the upward trend of Total Lubricant in terms of volume, but to also thank their customers across the country.

Nkada narrated that Total Sierra Leone took over Mobil in 2005 and that they have operated in the country for 13 years.

She said their presence in the country was not only to do business, but to give back to the country.

Winner of the Kekeh, Abu Kamara, thanked Total Sierra Leone for giving him the opportunity to be happy, adding that when he received the call that he had won he was in a state of disbelief.

Total is a French multinational integrated oil and gas company and one of the seven “Supermajor” oil companies in the world, covering the entire oil and gas chain, from crude oil and natural gas exploration and production to power generation, transportation, refining, petroleum product marketing, and international crude oil and product trading.
