KAPISS CEO, Raymond Taylor addressing press men
A private security company-KP Information and Security Services (KPISS) limited has brought in unique services that would help boost the sector.
While addressing newsmen yesterday during their miaden press briefing at their 63 Upper Brook Street in Freetown,Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Taylor, said he returned in Sierra Leone in 2013 and established a private investigation company with the view to complementing government efforts in the fight against crime.
The CEO said he had wanted also to enlighten the public that investigation cannot only be done by government agencies but also private individuals depending on the circumstances, qualifications and experience of that individual.
“Today, we are officially introducing our company to Sierra Leoneans through the media. We want people to understand that it is not every problem you have that you run to the police. Is not every issue that needed police investigation. You can have a private person to do series of investigation on your behalf. We want to help reduce the burden on the Sierra Leone Police. Fighting crime is not a one man thing,” he said.
Taylor said when an environment is crime free it attract investors, people feel comfortable to go out at night and that his company was able and willing to provide appropriate security services for Sierra Leoneans.
He stated that his company provides private investigation services, locates missing people, locates and identify witness for court proceedings, develops real time visual evidence at crime scenes, and conducts background checks for business and employees among host of other services.
He said there were a lot of security agencies across the country, but theirs was one of its kinds as the type of services they provide is second to none.
“Everything that has to do with investigation, you bring it, we can fix it. We are not just here to make money but to help our society. We are here to work for everybody and anybody. More importantly we are here to complement the effort and services of the SLP and any other law enforcement agency that is in the fight against crime,” he said.
Taylor said in November 2018, his company expressed willingness and readiness to complement the efforts of government law enforcement department at no cost to government.
He said “KPISS also want to focus on crime scene investigation, biometric evidence (finger print) like murder, break in and theft.
