Sierra Leone veteran striker, Kei Kamara hopes of playing in this year’s Major League Soccer play-off with Vancouver Whitecaps is on thin ice after his side suffered 4-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City.
The veteran forward whose assist gave setup Felipe goal just before halftime gave the Whitecaps the lead but the visitors had to fight back to secure all three points.
Sporting tied up the game just after the hour mark, as goals from Yohan Croizet, Daniel Salloi, Gianluca Busio and Salloi tapping gave the visitors the victory.
Kei Kamara and his Vancouver now sit three points and two places below the playoff line, and will need to pick up points in their final two games and get plenty of help if they are to reach the postseason after this loss.
