Fans celebrate with Ibrahim Kargbo after the match

Former Sierra Leone national team captain, Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo, had full time display to help Dulwich Hamlet to finally gain promotion to the National League South for the first time in the club’s proud history.

After last season’s failure, the Hamlet had to make progress, thanks to 4-3 post-game penalty shot-out win over Hendon FC after 1-1 full time draw at the playoff final.

The visitors took the lead in the 36th minute, when Walker finally got the better of his marker and made dangerous yards forward to pass Nathaniel-George, who improved his angle and drove a shot low just inside the left post.

Amadou Tangara seemed not to be at full stretch and thus was unable to reach the ball and after the break, Gavin Tomlin level for Dulwich in the second half to force the match to extra time.

Kargbo joined the English non-league side Dulwich Hamlet FC on a one-year deal and in 2017, he signed an extended deal with the club.
