The tour, led by the Managing Director of Airtel, Sudipto Chowdhury, was conducted by experts including the Networks Director of Airtel Sierra Leone, who shed light on what the establishment of an eData Center will mean for telecoms in Sierra Leone via a short power presentation.

In his statement, the Information and Communications Minister, Alhaji Alpha Kanu, positioned Airtel as the pacesetter in telecoms in the country and encouraged others to walk in their footsteps as they continue to push to satisfy their customers.

He said the Centre will not only benefit Airtel but the country in general as it caters for some 2000 sites at the same time.

Airtel’s Managing Director, in his statement, described the tour as a new dawn for the company as he strongly believes that with the e-Data Center the sky is the limit for Airtel Sierra Leone.

He encouraged the ministry and NATCOM to give their fullest support to the company in order to get the desired result.
