Sierra Leonean Goodwill Ambassador from the Republic of China, Mariatu Kargbo, has yesterday continued to donate Beingmate milk to less privileged children in the country.
It could be recalled that the Beingmate Company and the goodwill Ambassador last week presented twenty-four thousand (24,000) tins of powder milk worth 336,000 Euros for babies, women and children.
Speaking during the donation, Mariatu Kargbo stated that the donation was timely because it came during the time when the country is recovering from the mudslide disaster that orphaned hundreds of children and babies.
She said Beingmate milk has been in existence for over twenty-five years, and that as goodwill Ambassador, she taught it fit to make it available for less privileged babies.
Madam Kargbo continued that the milk is for babies between the ages of 0-6 month and 6- 1 year old, noting that due to the active role played by the First Lady of Sierra Leone, the Milk was made available.
Nurse Eugenia Metzger from Office of the First Lady, stated that the donated milk will help babies to grow up well and also help to strengthen the immune system of the babies.
She thanked Mariatu for her goodwill and showered praises on her for the timely donation.
