Magistrate John Manso Fornah of the Ross Road Magistrates’ Court No. 2, yesterday remanded one Amadu Turay at the Male Correctional Centre for allegedly wounding one Albert Tucker.
The accused was charged with three counts of wounding with intent and assault, contrary to Section 18 of the Offences Against the Persons Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused on Friday, 14th October, 2016 at 45 Blackhall Road, wounded Albert Tucker with intent to do him bodily harm.
Magistrate Fornah remanded the accused and adjourned the matter to 28th October.
The matter is prosecuted by female Police Constable Mariama Dumbuya.
In a related development, Magistrate Fornah also remanded one Mohamed Hamza Kamara at the Male Correctional Centre for allegedly wounding one Foday Kamara.
The accused person was charged with three counts of wounding and assault.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused on Thursday, 20th October, 2016 at Race Course, wounded Foday Kamara, with an intention to cause him grievous bodily harm.
Magistrate Fornah denied the accused bail and adjourned the matter to Friday, 28th October.
