Sierra Leone winger, Mustapha Bundu is set  to join Danish Superliga side AGF Aarhus after a successful trial with the club.

According to British based media, Hereford Times, the former Hereford FC player underwent 10 trials with the club and his performance during the training session was set to yield  dividend.

“I was in Denmark for 10 days and trained with a top division club,” explained Bundu to the Hereford Times. “They said they want to sign me, but I’m back in England to sort out my work permit if  I can sort it out here.If I need to go back to Sierra Leone, then I can do that quickly and get it sorted.”

Bundu was with Hereford FC last season and was later released at the end of the campaign because he was not eligible to play in Southern League South & West due to visa restrictions and work permit.

This was also confirmed by the club which stated that the Sierra Leonean would  not be with them because he would  not be allowed to play higher than step five of the non-league pyramid due to work permit issues.

The 19-year-old in May joined a list of players with Sierra Leonean origin to play in a Cup final at England’s iconic Wembley Stadium in the FA Vase final and Hereford lost the match 4-1 to Highwaymen’s. Bundu moved to England through the Craig Bellamy Foundation.
