Crystal Palace youngster Sullay Kaikai has said he is still unsure whether to commit his international future to the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars or the three Lions of England.

The 20-year-old who was born in London to Sierra Leonean parents is still eligible to play for either nations but the striker insisted that he still needs to establish himself in the Crystal Palace team before considering his international career.

“It’s not a decision I’m going to make at the moment,” said Kaikai. “I have got lot of time to make the decision as to which country I play for. I’m just going to concentrate on my club football for now. I need to be playing regularly at Crystal Palace before i think of becoming an international player.”

Kaikai, who was named the Sierra Leonean Young player of the Year for the second time at a ceremony held in London last Saturday by the football website Sierra Leone Football.com, still believes he will definitely make a choice over his international career but not too soon.

The young Palace striker made his Premier League debut in the club’s final game of the just concluded season when he came on as a substitute in their 4-1 loss to Southampton.

The cameo was his second appearance for the London club after coming on and scoring in a Capital One League Cup loss to Newcastle United in 2014. He spent much of the 2015/16 season on loan to Shrewsbury Town in the English third tier league, where he scored 12 goals in 29 appearances.
