FC Kallon and Old Edwardians FC are seeking to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat when they take on Gem Stars and East End Lions FC respectively in the ongoing football stakeholders’ National Premier League.
FC Kallon, who suffered a 1-0 defeat to East End Lions on the league’s opener last Saturday at the National Stadium in Freetown, will be up against Gem Stars at the Approved School ground, east end of Freetown. Old Edwardians, on the other hand, who were trounced 2-0 by Bo Rangers, will be hoping to make amends the same day when they host East End Lions at the National Stadium.
The newly constructed Bo City Stadium in southern Sierra Leone will host the other match of the day as Bo Rangers will be hoping to make it two wins out of two when they host Mighty Blackpool, the Tiss-Tass boys. The clash will be Blackpool’s first match in the league.
League action will continue on Sunday as Central Parade will start their campaign against Freetown City FC at the National Stadium, while Diamond Stars will host Anti-Drugs FC at the Kono Town field in Koidu.
