A female candidate who studied at the University of Makeni, Victoria Adama Koroma, has emerged as the star student of the December 2015 Bar Final Examination at the Sierra Leone Law School.
Ms. Koroma bagged a Class Two Division Two out of 70 students who sat the examination.
However, 11 other students also got Class Two Division Two, with majority having bagged their LLB degrees from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
The results, which were published last Friday, 15 January, have been described as one of the worst in the school’s 26 years existence, with none of the 70 students scooping Class One or Class Two Division One.
Eight students got Class Three.
In total, only 20 out of 70 candidates passed the Bar Final Examination in the Class of December 2015. There is one incomplete result, one student who was expelled, although no name or reason was given. 24 students were referred, while another 24 failed.
Those who were referred are due to sit subjects they were flunked in February, while others who failed will repeat the whole year.
