Orange Telecom Sierra Leone, one of the leading GSM providers in the country on (Wednesday 13th February) presented a cheque of one hundred million Leones to one Abdulai Yillah, a resident of Kambia District, as their second grand winner of their 2018 promotion.

In  December,2018, Orange Telecom launched their end of year promotion title ‘Win Big’ which provided customers with the  chance to win brand new tricycles, plus one year free fuel from Total Petroleum and maintenance agreement, and star prize of two hundred million Leones.

Speaking during the presentation of the cheque at the Kambia Town Bus Station, Kambia District Northern Sierra Leone, Marketing Director at Orange Sierra Leone, Laurent Kiba, stated that the company was not only operating in the country for profit making, but also cares about their subscribers across the country, hence they launched the promotion as a means of giving back to society.

He said the company has over the months presented many attractive prizes including brand new Bajaj tricycles, plus one year free fuel from Total Petroleum and maintenance agreement, and one million each to sixty customers across the country.

He said he was very happy that one of the winners of the grand prize was a woman, adding that the company was transforming the lives of its  customers across the country.

He encouraged people to make Orange Telecom as their priority network in the country, stating that they have more promotions with attractive prizes in store awaiting value customers.

The Deputy Chairman of Kambia District, Mohamed M. Sumah, said he was happy that one of their sons won the grand prize of the promotion, adding that it was also good that the cheque’s presentation was done openly because people always argued that those promotions were not true.

Bai Sama Kamara, Member of Parliament for Constituency 060 in the Kambia District, said before going into politics, he had worked with the company for some years, noting that one thing that can’t be taken away from the company was transparency and sincerity.

Receiving the cheque, Abdulai Yillah said he was speechless for what has happened in his life was a miracle, adding that he was grateful to the company for changing his life.

He said he had been with the company for years, noting that it was because of his loyalty to the company that rewarded him, thus encouraging others to make Orange Telecom their first choice.
