The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the Body of Christ Sierra Leone, are set to organise Holy Ghost rally 2018.
The crusade would last from 11th to 12th November, 2018, at the Siaka Steven Stadium, with the theme ‘Let the fire fall.’
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, National Pastor, Adewale K. Adesina, said they called the media to intimate them about the rally, which the General overseer of RCCG, pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye from Nigeria, would lead the procession.
He said pastor Adeboye has been in the forefront of missionary activities outside Africa and that God has been using him to achieve greatness and global followers for Christ.
He added that Pastor Adeboye last visited Sierra Leone seven years ago, when he ministered on the theme “let the wind blow” and testimonies during and after the visit, were awesome.
He noted however that the return of Pastor Adeboye this time was unplanned, but divinely arranged.
He said the theme “let the fair fall” means ‘let God come down’, and where the fire of God comes down, yokes were destroyed and anyone who the fire of God touches, would prosper.
He stated that several programs have been lined up to grace the return of Pastor Adeboye.
Pastor Oyinade K. Adesina said the Feast of Esther has started since 2002,and that it was a special programme organised and hosted by the wife of pastor Adeboye(Mrs Folu Adeboye).
He said the programme involves the gathering of heads of women ministers to interact for the purpose of their fellowship, prayer, renewal, growth and development and to stand in gap for their churches.
He said the mission of the Feast of Esther was to develop sierra Leoneans in basic skills around the churches, adding that it was to develop pastors, ministers, and bishops and empowered the children of God to stand in the gap for their homes, churches and ministries and the nation.
He noted that the purpose of the feast was to interact and share information to leaders and also empower churches, so that they can reflect revival in the nation, and to ensure that many people make heaven.
He said as a fellowship, they would support Pastor Adeboye to transform the lives of people in Sierra Leone, adding that the mission has existed for over 17 years.
Assistant Media Coordinator, Reverend Martha Chigozie, said the Holy Ghost rally is a programme that was revealed to pastor Adeboye to come and pray for the people of Sierra Leone.
She said on the 11th November at Bintumani Hotel, the wife of Adeboye would have a conference with women to guide them on how they should run their ministries.
She added that most people were looking for miracles, signs and wonders, forgetting about God, but pastor Adeboye would preach the word of God.
“I promise that the Holy Ghost rally would be a night of praise and worship, a night of divine visitation and I encourage everyone to come in their numbers at the stadium with expectations as God Almighty would visit Sierra Leone with consuming fire to destroy and consume various problems encountered by his people,” she noted.
