Young Sierra Leonean striker, Musa Noah Kamara, says his ongoing trials with Swedish topflight league side; Hammarby, is his first chance to fulfill his dream to play in Sweden.
Kamara, who was invited for test with the Allvenskan league side is hoping to perform and attract the attention of his potential suitors.
“It’s my big dream to come here. I still do not know how long it will be, I’ll just try to do my best, try to take this chance,”Kamara told FotbollDirekt.se.
“My agent informed me about this club (Hammarby). He said it was a good club. There was an opening invitation to come here and try. So, it’s a great chance for me to come here.”
Meanwhile, it is unclear how long his trials will last for, but it is believed that his first impression to the club was positive despite it was the 18-year-old striker first international club testing.
He said: “This is the first club I’m testing for. This is the first time I’m in Europe at all. It’s very cold here (laughter). But I really like this club, everyone who is here. All the guys in the team are very welcome and nice; I have had a very good impression. I really appreciate it.
Several players from Sierra Leone have went through similar move to Sweden and then moved abroad from there. Mohamed Bangura and Ibrahim Teteh Bangura were the most famous and recently Mohamed Buya Turay who left Dalkurd for Belgian Sint-Truiden this summer.
