Free agent Sierra Leone striker, Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura, is currently training with Swedish Division 2 side, Piteå IF- as he looks forward to his next destination.
The former AIK and Celtic forward returned to Swedish football last season with Dalkurd AIF after a short time in China. However, he had a less playing time with the newly promoted Dalkurd side due to injury.
And since leaving the club, the 28-year-old striker is clubless and was spotted in training with the Division 2 team side and could possibly feature for them on Friday in the Arnes Bil cup in Luleå as he awaits his next move.
Bangura himself admitted that he may be playing for them on Friday before moving on. “I came on Sunday and will be here for few days. I drove to the gym yesterday, but want to play football as well. This is a great opportunity for me to keep up for the season and find the shape,” Bangura told Norrbottenskiren.
On where next he would be playing next season, the forward is still unclear saying: “I have no answer to that. It may be Sweden or abroad. I feel no pressure to make a quick decision. It’s just fun to be here and play, even if there is too much snow.”
“It’s hard to say what I want, I take it cool and feel like no pressure, then let’s see what’s going on. It is not clear where to play yet, but I do not intend to leave.”
