The Judiciary of Sierra Leone will on today and tomorrow (21 and 22 November) pay tribute to some of their fallen colleagues at the main High Court building in Freetown.
According to a letter dated 9th November, 2017 and addressed to the Solicitor-General and President of Bar Association, the ceremony will commence at 9:00.am on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
The letter noted that Chief Justice Abdulai Hamid Charm will join other members of the Judiciary to pay tribute to their departed colleagues in the noble profession of law.
“The fallen colleagues included I. Raham Esq., R.A. During Esq.; Abu Bakarr Conteh Esq.; Vincent Sowa Esq.; F.C. Tuboko-Metzger and Hon. Justice Alusine Fofanah. The bench and bar, friends, relatives and other members of the Judiciary will witness the ceremony,” the letter stated.
Master and Registrar, Stephen Yayah Mansaray, in an exclusive interview with this medium at his Law Court Building, confirmed that they would pay tribute to their fallen colleagues in the law profession.
