Pulling the trigger, Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo scores again

Central defender, Alie Sesay, has joined midfielder, Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo and Mohamed Buya Turay on the scoresheet over the weekend to help his Swedish Superettan side, IFK Frej to a 5-0 win over Värnamo.

The goal was the Sierra Leone international second in IFK Frej colours since joining them before the start of the season and it came in the 63 minutes. IFK Frej Saturday’s thumping of Värnamo moved them a place and a point (25 from 26 matches) above the relegation zone.

Striker Mohamed Buya Turay scored his ninth Allsvenskan league goal of the season in AFC Eskilstuna disappointing 1-1 draw with Jönköpings Södra.

Turay opened the scoring 15 minutes after the start of the match but the visitors spoiled the show through Daryl Smylie’s  strike seven minutes from time.  And in England, former Leon Stars skipper, Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo helped Dulwich moved up to third place in the league with a comfortable win against bottom side Worthing at Bognor Regis.

The Hamlet took the lead when a cross from Quade Taylor was cleared to the former Sierra Leone international without hesitation hit the ball from 25 yards out to beat Covolan via a slight deflection.

It was Kargbo’s second goal of the season and he came close to add another but his 32nd minute effort was just too high.

Elsewhere in England, Amadou Bakayoko came off the bench in 77 minutes, replacing Roberts but his cameo could not save Walsall from a 2-0 defeat away to Wigan Athletic in the English League One and in Saudi, striker Alhaji Kamara made a comeback to the Al Taawon squad that suffered 1-2 defeat to Al Ittihad. Kamara replaced Naif Hazazi in 46th minutes.

Midfielders Kwame Quee, John Kamara and Michael Lahoud all have full time action for Víkingur Ólafsvík, Kaisar and Miami FC over the weekend. Quee side held IA to a goalless draw while Kamara’s Kaisar FC secured a 2-1 win over Okzhetpes and Lahoud’s Miami FC defeated Jacksonville Armada 1-0.

Leone Stars captain, Umaru Bangura helped FC Zurich secured another clean sheet after they defeated Lugano 3-0 and in the U.S.  Major League Soccer, striker, Kei Kamara and his New England Revolution were kept at bay by Atlanta United who forced the Revs to a goalless draw.

George Davies came off the bench for St. Pölten 0-3 home defeat to Sturm Graz in the 56th minute while; Mustapha Bundu was given 16 minutes spell as his AGF side defeated FC Helsingør 1-5.

In Finland, Hassan Mila Sesay was dropped to the bench at the start of the match in Lahti 2-1 away defeat to ILves but was later introduced in the 46 minutes while striker Ibrahim Teteh Bangura played some part in Sinopspor 3-3 home draw with Çarşambaspor.

However, Bangura’s namesake and former AIK teammate, Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura was an unused sub in Dalkurd 4-2 home win over Syrianska but  there was no place for Alfred Sankoh in Denizlispor first win of the season as they defeated Gazişehir Gaziantep.
