After several adjournments, Magistrate Santigie Bangura of the Pademba Magistrates’ Court No 1 yesterday granted a bail of Le10million and a surety in like sum to one Janneh Gobeh, who was before the court for an alleged housebreaking and larceny by servant.

The accused is in court on two counts of house breaking and larceny contrary to section 26(1) of the Larceny Act 1916.

Prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent, T.M Bangura, alleges that on 19th July, 2017 at Block C-11 off Wilkinson Road in Freetown, the accused (Janneh Gobeh) broke into and entered the dwelling house of Ella Musa.

Lawyer C.M.B applied for bail for the accused, quoting section 71(2) of the Criminal Procedures Act No 32, and added that the accused is a Sierra Leonean with reliable sureties to stand on his behalf.

She said her client will not jump bail nor interfere with the prosecution witnesses and that he will be in court whenever the matter is called.

However, Magistrate Bangura granted the accused bail and adjourned the matter to 26 September, 2017.
