Presiding Magistrate Santigie Bangura of the Pademba Road Magistrate’s Court No.1 on Friday (14th July 2017) granted 170 million Leones bail with two sureties to one Josephus Vincent for manslaughter.

The accused person was before the Court on two counts of Manslaughter Contrary to Law and Dangerous driving Contrary to Section 99 of Road Traffic Act No.5 of 2007.

Police prosecutor, Sergeant Karku, alleges that Josephus Vincent, on Thursday 27th April 2017 at about 9:30 am on the high way along Sir Samuel Lewis Road Aberdeen in Freetown, being the driver in control of a Mercedes Benz van with registration number A.M.L 038 unlawfully killed Michael Femi Turner with the said vehicle.

He continues that the accused did drive the said vehicle in a manner dangerous to the public in respect of Festus Bankole Graham.
