HAJA M’BALU INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OKAYS 22 GRADUATES

In a bid to promote Islamic Education targeting young kids in and around the Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom Lungi, Woman Assistant Superintendent of Police, who doubles as proprietress of the Haja M’Balu International School, Mrs. Haja M’Balu Mansaray has approved 22 Graduates from pre-primary to primary schooling.

In her remarks whilst addressing the audience, Haja M’balu Mansaray lauded the effort of parents and emphasized that investment in our kids education is the best investment one can make, because it eventually leads to intellectual property which is an intangible property that no one can steal or destroy.

Haja M’balu Mansaray commended the teachers for their great sacrifice in ensuring that the kids are groomed up with good Islamic training as education is the birth right of every Muslim Man and Woman as Islam puts considerable emphasis on its followers to acquire knowledge.

She catalogued the aims and objectives for setting up the Haja M’balu International Islamic nursery school, which she said is to inculcate in the child the sense of love, care, affection; humility, equity, honesty, integrity, justice and other values based on Islamic ethics.

She called on the Ministry of Education and parents to continue their unflinching support to the school so that they will groom the kids to become conscious of their responsibilities to develop themselves and their environment for the benefit of our beloved country Sierra Leone.

In his remarks the supervisor of schools in Lungi, Mr. Lahai Wahid Marah commended the school for their strides to produce a very good Islamic environment for the proper upbringing of the children, owing to the fact that the child has the right to be raised as responsible Muslim and parents must ensure that such a right be appropriately given to the child. He stressed that parents must be conscious and played active role in guiding their children and families on the path of truth.

Mr. Marah described the school, as a gesture that will restore Islamic ethics on young kids emphasizing that it is the prerogative of government to ensure a compulsory early child education for kids to acquire sound education in order to prepare them for primary education. He disclosed that soon the Ministry of Education will give their approval to the Haja M’Balu International School for their exemplary performance in teaching the kids in International languages Arabic, English and French.

In his remarks, the local unit commander of Lungi Division Chief Superintendent Jorwulor R. Gbonnoh emphasized that Education should cater for the growth of students in all its aspects: spiritual, intellectual, imaginative, physical, and motivate all aspects towards goodness and the attainment of perfection. He stressed that the ultimate aim of Muslim education lies in the realization of complete submission to Allah on the level of the individual, the community and humanity at large.

In his remarks on behalf of the Paramount Chief of Kaffu Bullom P.C Bai Shebora Sheba Gbereh 111 reiterated that the general goals of nursery education are to effect a smooth transition from home to school and to provide adequate care and supervision for the children while their parents work; to help the child to adjust to social norms and to teach the child the basic academic skills.

Mr. Shebora urged the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to approve the school the school as the performance of the kids has demonstrated they are amongst the best schools in the Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom. He commended the school for grooming the kids in being so fluent in English, French and Arabic and urge parents to send their kids to the first Islamic nursery school in the chiefdom.

The program was climaxed with the distribution of certificates and prizes.
