Presiding Magistrate Santigie Bangura of the Pademba Road Magistrates’ Court No.5 on Monday, 10th July, 2017 sentenced one Moses Samura at the Pademba Road Male Correctional Centre for maliciously damaging two side mirror glasses of a Toyota vehicle belonging to one Sheka Bangura.
Turay, 22, was sentenced to six months after he pleaded guilty before Magistrate Bangura on all counts charges.
The accused person was before the court on three counts of Malicious damage contrary to Section 51 of the Malicious Damage Act of 1861, threatening language, and public insult and provocation contrary to Sections 3(1) and 2 of the Public Order Act No. 46 of 1965.
According to Police prosecutor, Sergeant Daramy 2379, on Sunday 2nd July, 2017, at Crab Town,Beach Road Lumely, maliciously damaged two side mirror glasses of one Toyota vehicle with registration No. A.M.Q 153, valued three million five hundred thousand Leones (le 3.5m) belonging to the complainant.
Meanwhile there has been no legal representative for the accused person.
In another development in the same Courtroom, one Maseray Turay 22, a trader pleaded guilty before Magistrate Bangura for unlawful possession of quantity of cannabis sativa.
