Deputy Health Minister Madina Rahman joins Operation Clean Freetown, donates Rice and Cash to Youths

Deputy Health and Sanitation Minister 1, Madam Madina Rahman

The Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation 1, Madam Madina Rahman has taken the challenge to join the ongoing Operation Clean Freetown campaign with motivating incentives of bags of rice and cash to voluntary youths in Ward 367, covering Kanikay and Cline Town Community.

Madina Rahman a Community Social Mobilization figure well known during the Ebola outbreak for her participation in the fight against the disease was physically engaged in the cleaning exercise just as she was seen in Personal Protective Equipment at the Hastings Ebola Treatment Centre restoring confidence on the Nursing staff.

This time on Wednesday June 21, 2017 the Deputy Minister get herself involved physically with admiration and applause from ordinary residents.

Making her donation Madam Rahman encouraged the youths and residents to support the ongoing cleaning campaign and to abide by the Bye-Laws set by the Freetown City Council.

She commended the President’s Delivery Team and implored them to continue the good work. “We all have a role to play and together, we will all achieve a cleaner and healthier capital City of Freetown” opined Madam Rahman.
