Sports Minister motivates players

As the national team training continues to intensify following the arrival of all the invited foreign-based players, Minister of Sports, Ahmed Khanou, has on Wednesday given the players words of motivation and encouragement.
Spotted in blue adidas sporting outfit, the Minister had a peep talk with the players and technical team after Wednesday’s evening training session at the Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown.
In his brief statement, Minister Khanou officially welcomed the players, especially the professional and talked about the ministry and government full support towards the success of the team.
With a full house, the team had a full filed training session as the technical team paid keen attention on players’ mobility, pace, strength and positioning.
In related development, popular businessman and philanthropist, Alfread Badara Turay aka ‘Agba Badara’ donated over 12 dozen create of water toward the team training and build up ahead of Saturday’s match.
Making the presentation on ‘Agba Badara’s’ behalf, former captain of Sierra Leone national female team, Sierra Queens, Musu Pele Conteh, said the gesture was one of the philanthropist way of boosting the players moral ahead of the Kenya match.
She said the well-known Agba Badara will continue to support the team as and when necessary.
Receiving the donated items, the Leone Stars team Manager; Christian Dauda, thanked Musu and Agba Badara for the gift, adding that the message will reach the players.
