The Sierra Leone Scrabble Association (SLSA) has officially been recognised by the country’s National Sports Council.
In a letter addressed to the SLSA executive, the Assistant Director of Sports, Mrs. Pamela Williams, stated that the association has been accepted in the NSC as one of the associations to be recognised.
The letter reads: “I wish to write on behalf of the Acting Director of Sports with the approval of the Minister of Sports inviting your association for an official welcome on Friday 31 July at 2pm in the Ministry of Sports’ main building.”
