Sierra Leone and Barnet FC defender, Alie Sesay, is currently training with newly promoted Swedish Allsvenskan side, AFC Eskilstuna.
Sesay alongside Grimsby Town FC’s attacking midfielder, Dominic Vose, have both reported undergoing test with the Swedish club, with a possible opting of securing a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old Sierra Leonean defender has not been featured for Barnet FC since their 1-2 win over Cheltenham Town in their League Two Boxing Day fixtures.
He came in as a substitute in that match and since then he had not had a playing time with the League Two side, as he was an unused sub against Luton Town and was left out of the squad against Plymouth Argyle and Leyton Orient.
According fotbollskanalen.se, manager Pelle Olsson, is eyeing a central defender and was pleased with Sesay’s workout.
The former Leicester City defender ,who was looking forward to sign a deal with the club was satisfied with the progress made so far and he said: “It was very good and the manager explained very well. Everything was fine.”
Ali Sesay had his first called-up to the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars in October, 2014 and made his debut in a 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Cameroon on October, 2014. He already has three caps for Sierra Leone.
