Sierra Leone’s Ghanaian care-taker coach Sellas Tetteh has left out BK Hacken striker Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara from his 15 -man professional squad that will face the Ivory Coast on Saturday, 3 September in Bouake.

The 23-year-old striker, who few months back joined BK Hacken from Orebro, was also left out from Sierra Leone’s 1-0 home win over Sudan on 4 June, a decision which reportedly angered the former AIK forward.

Despite call from the Sports Ministry to include former Columbus Crew striker Kei Kamara in the squad ahead of the crucial fixture, the New England Revolution forward was shun by both the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the technical team.

Kamara last October put an end to his international career with the national team, accusing the SLFA of  lack of respect for players, adding that the SLFA leaders simply are not willing to match the commitments offered by the players.

Also missing in the squad is Barnet defender Alie Sesay. However, China-based defender Gibril Sankoh will be making his return to the squad after a four-year absence.

Already 16 home-based players are already in Accra, Ghana on camping while the 15 foreign based players are all expected to join them before departing to Ivory Coast on August 31.

The full list of invited foreign Based players;

Solomon Zombo Morris (France), Alhaji Dauda Conteh (Guinea), Umaru Bangura (Switzerland), David Simbo (Belarus), Hassan Sesay (Finland), Gibril Sankoh (China), Mohamed Kamara (Finland), Khalifa Jabbie (Maldova), Alfred Sankoh (Turkey), John Kamara (Latvia), George Davies (Germany), Mohamed Bangura (China), Abdul Sesay (Finland), Julius Woobay (Slovenia), Sheka Fofanah (Denmark)
