One Balie Sesay alias Balastic, 40, was yesterday remanded at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown for an alleged sexual penetration of two toddlers.
He accused was arraigned at the Freetown Magistrates’ Court No.1, presided over by Magistrate Dr. Abou Bhakarr Binneh-Kamara, on two counts of sexual penetration of a child, contrary to Section 19 of the Sexual Offences Act of 2012
According to the particulars of offence, the accused on Sunday, 20 March, 2016 sexually penetrated the victim, who is 9 years old.
The prosecution also alleges that on diverse dates between 14 February and 21 March, 2016 he also sexually penetrated another victim, who is 13 years.
Police Prosecutor, Inspector Hawa Bah, informed the court that her witnesses were absent and pleaded with the magistrate to grant her an adjournment as a result.
The matter was adjourned to 25 August.
