Sierra Leone striker Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura helped his Swedish club, AIK reach the next round of the EUFA Europa League after their 4-0 win over VPS Vaasa with 6-2 on aggregate.
Bangura scored his team’s second goal of the match after Niclas Eliasson had grabbed the lead for the home side just 13 minutes into the match.
AIK’s lead was extended in the second half through Bangura after the striker received the ball from Henok Goitom inside the penalty area and was able to exploit Vaasa’s passive defensive game.
Just few minutes later, Goitom himself rounded the score to 3-0, thanks to a pass from Hauksson. Five minutes from time, Ebenezer Ofori received the ball in the penalty area, and as he stumbled he slot the ball in the far corner for 4-0.
AIK are now through to the next round where they will face the winner between FC Shirak Armenian and Bosnian HSK Zrinjski in the second qualifying round.
