Sierra Leonean international striker, Sheka Fofanah aka ‘Eto’, is expected to complete a move to the Denmark first dvision club Vejle Boldklub.
The forward, who is currently in Denmark, is said to be in negotiation with the five times Danish champions who have also won the Danish cup title six times.
With the Danish club yet to make any official announcement over the move, it is widely rumoured that the 18-year-old striker has already signed a deal with the club but it is unclear whether it is a free loan deal with an option for a contract.
Fofanah, who was the star of the day after his overhead kick gave the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars, a 1-0 win against Sudan in last month’s 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, has already scored two goals in four appearances for Leone Stars.
The former Freetown City Council FC forward traveled to Denmark just a week after ending his trials with Swedish Champions IFK Norrkoping. The said trials ended badly for the Sierra Leonean striker as he sustained a groin injury which dented his chances of securing a deal with the Swedish club.
