Sierra Leone national team duo Kwame Quee and Yeami Dunia, together with two other players will today (Monday) commence a three weeks trial with Danish Superliga club Randers FC.

Christian Moses and Mohamed Kamara are the two other players who are with Quee and Dunia as they seek to impress the Randers Sports Manager Ole Nielsen and Head Coach Olafur Kristjansson in the three weeks workout to secure permanent deals.

Last Friday, the quartet had a four-man training session and Peter Elstrup was reportedly satisfied with what he saw, but admitted it was difficult to judge much from Friday’s training alone.

“It has been beyond my expectations. They are athletic and talented, and so they seem to learn quickly. But one thing is a short training today; together as a team when playing 11 against 11. That’s when I expect them to really show themselves,” says the talented manager.

The determined Christian Moses is confident they can handle the pressure of convincing the officials for a contract. He said: “Football is about being able to handle the pressure. It’s part of the game, and we are ready to prove that we can handle it.”

Defender Yeami Dunia, who has nine caps for the Sierra Leone national team in different positions, said: “We must just work hard and show what we can give on the pitch.”

The four players traveled under the umbrella of FC Lion Pride, a second division team in Sierra Leone that is owned by former Danish Superliga player Erik Rasmussen.

Lion Pride FC Team Manager, Mamadou Bah, who also traveled with the players, is hoping they will all handle the pressure and secure professional contracts with the Danish club.

“All four are very good players who have prepared well, and two of them were in the Sierra Leone starting line-up that defeated Sudan 1-0 in the African Cup of nations qualifier in Freetown June 4, 2016,” he said.
