Former Old Edwardians striker, Philip Oluwaseun Aremu, has scooped the golden boot award in Oman’s second tier league and promoted his team, Salah SC, to the top flight league for next season.
The Nigerian-born forward, who is a client under the Global Soccer Management – a management owned by Sierra Leonean football agent Chernor Musa Jalloh, scored 18 goals in 24 league appearances thus making him the division’s top scorer for two consecutive seasons.
His team ended up as runners-up in the league and gained automatic qualification into the top division.
The player’s agent, Chernor Musa Jalloh, was delighted with Aremu’s performance and hoped he will continue in such a high spirit next season.
“For us at Global Soccer we are happy with his performance and hope he maintains such a form next season, especially as he will be faced with a new challenge,” Jalloh said.
